Hi lundebc, thanks for your interest.
I have integrated motion sensors into other nodes and it is the next thing for the ManCave node, I’ve built and photographed the hardware and sorted the code, I just need to write the text, hopefully in the next few days.

As you can see the gateway getting the status change of the movement sensor from the node then there is probably something incorrect in the driver setup.

In the custom driver you have created check that the group ID is the same as the sensor child id in the node.
Next make sure that the data field you have added has the correct control ID, V_STATUS ( V_TRIPPED is deprecated but would probably work OK for now )
I expect the your node is sending a 1 or 0 so make sure the data type is Boolean, adjust if necessary
The rest of the options are your own personal choice, I like to have Text & Color for the Visual Type and the representation as Movement

If you’re still not getting any joy try a different browser or even platform. I have several dashboards set up and find sometimes that things that work on the Android phone via the PiDome App are maybe a little different in the browser.

Let me know how you go.

Kind regards

John

Have you tried to integrate one of your motion sensors to PiDome? I added a custom device using your screen shots as a basic guide, but I do not seem to be getting the triggers inside Pidome. I know the Sensor is working as I can see it in the gateway, so I am not sure where I am configuring this wrong. If you do another tutorial, this would be a good one to use as an example!
